Hello Developers,
While playing multiple scenarios, I noticed that I often ended up with profits but no reserved cash left. Currently, the game provides only two financial statements: the balance sheet and the income statement. I propose adding a cash flow statement to give players a clearer picture of how money is moving within the business. This addition would add more depth and clarity to the game, allowing for a more accurate representation of financial management.
Additionally, I have another suggestion based on behavioral economics, particularly in the luxury consumer goods or low-necessity product markets. In the real world, people sometimes exhibit behavior where demand increases as prices rise. This phenomenon occurs because higher prices create a perception of higher quality, exclusivity, and status signalling boost, which appeals to customers seeking scarcity, status signaling, or luxury.
To incorporate this into the game, you could implement a pricing mechanic for luxury or price-elastic markets where increasing prices (up to a certain threshold) actually boosts demand. Beyond this threshold, however, demand would decrease as it follows typical consumer behavior. I know we have a separate brand value for that ,maybe somehow you can connect the price variable to the brand variable ( like how product quality is related to brand loyalty which then is a part of brand) for this phenomenon. which means that increase in price would up to a certain threshold increases the perceived value of the brand
This feature would make the game more realistic and allow players to explore strategic pricing decisions for high-end markets.
Thank you for considering these ideas, and I hope they help enhance the gameplay experience!

It would be cool if there were more seasonal events. And that these varied seasonal events could somehow affect the economy in general or some specific sector. A national workers' strike for more benefits could, for example, reduce the productivity of factories in that city for a while. A subsidy given by the local mayor for a certain class of product could mean that certain products sold in that city pay tax less, anyway, here are just a few examples.

Do you have any suggestions about how such information should presented to players so that they know which price points will drive the most demand? Is it simply the high price that will increase the demand or other factors also need to be present in order to have the demand boost?

okay what I thought is maybe you could add some sort of lED light which increases its brightness when the price points drive the most demand, when it decreases the light would also get dim.
also i forgot to mention -> in those markets , perceived scarcity and exclusivity ( low quantity, "rarity") also boosts the demand , so quantity counts as a factor .
I think we have to also factor out the demographics also , because its those with aspirational buyers , and having decent income levels , urban markets
or can we also have a market insight R & D , like that gives insight about market--> useful catalyst to brand and product quality? and also we can target specific customer segment..
