Subsidiary with only retail shops "invents" 14 high tech products

Not sure if this is a bug or something that can happen, i've never seen this happen in all my life playing Capitalism.
I'm running 10.0.55, all DLC enabled (not Survival mode) with Realworld 13.21 and the messages as seen in below's screenshot popped up.
Kroger is my subsidiary company, for which i've set to basicly only go Retail, no backward integration, no R&D.
Ofcourse i checked and the company has no R&D centers, only retail stores and a HQ.
The company is also not new (for which i can somewhat imagine the luck and coincidence of getting exactly the right techs for the inventions to get), it exists for roughly 6 or 7 years.

Is this possible within the game or did a bug occur where Kroger somehow got new Tech's awarded (orso)?

Update:

Digging into this strange occurrence, here is a theory:
Just before the Invention pop-ups, i recreated a subsidiary, Akzonobel, because the first time i accidentality started it from Kroger's Financial page, instead of Evolved Unlimited (main company).
Looking at the Aquire Technology from other companies window, i see that Kroger (aswell as the 2nd time created AkzoNobel) have all the Tech at level 30.
Its only 1998 in the game, but new companies, or at least Subsidiaries get techs which should not become available or timewise be discovered for around 10 years (2010)? That seems odd to me and exploitable, where if i merge a subsidiary back into Evoled Unlimited, my main company automatically acquires those techs.

thats due to digital age, i guess you have reinvention of all products or most electronics products at least, i mentioned that a few times already, since digital age the game wants t push you at any costs to the internet so in the first 5-10 years some companies usually a sub of yours will be bumped up with every single tech (tech tech) and most electronic products in a single day, even if the product invention is still locked until the year 2587 or until the year 3500 or even if locked until year 98.000, you will get your electronic stuff invented in 1905 - 1910 if you started in 1900... and it doesnt matter that you havnt got the semi products invented yet. its just as it is and i got no idea why

Hi Anjali,

I'm using a selfmade custom script and while i had reinvention in there, i didn't like it and took it out of the script.
I am getting what you are saying though about the forced push and if that is true, it indeed is weird why it would do that before the actual unlock year.

i always play with every tech locked and since digital DLC am always forced (usually after 4 or 5 year my latest was after 8 years) with this push through the electronics and computer stuff, though still cant produce it as i dont have the semi products. its weird that i dont have invented the wheel yet nor a cpu but have the computer guess in 8 month its time again for this invention push in this game sept/oct 1903 still not gonna have silicon invented by then only gonna have plastic and steel by that time. when i started playing with digital age dlc, i had to change the mod to explicit lock all techs/products with invention year, or i got dvd, paper cpu and any semi needed + software and computers etc at the start of the game for free even if all prodcuts incl semi had to be invented first. so i locked it with invention year and was happy but every single game ends with the same experience as you had, push through the techs instantly within the first few years,
