bigger towns

Post by choum »

Hello,

As you can make adgustables town size, it would be great to make bigger towns, as with many AI and lot of factories and farms the map is quickly full.
Factories and R&D with many floors could help too. Or just factory upgrade (same size but better robots (MFT), it's better than to build many factories to process the same things ;)
To fight pollution, maybe setup specific towns, somes with only industries and mines, and some others with only residentials and commercials ;)

Thanks

200x200 is a good size of towns, if you got too many products due to mods you got options to increase everything
from farm over factory up to mines output via modding and mines also via script. i ve done it myself and works wonders.
most stuff can be done in a single factory per product and city, small 2x2 farms enugh to cover 1-3 products each farm (though some needs farm extenders later on but thats not a lot) i.e. 1.315.000 eggs monthly in a fully trained up 2x2 farm with 3 egg units
its all about fine tuning if you add hundreds of products via mod, just need to watch the profits and adjust it so you dont end up with plenty money printing facilities

bigger map would be worse performance most likely.
