Random Crashes

OK, this is probably a bit too vague. I'm on the latest patch, and am now getting random crashes; There's no error message , nothing. It'll just close and go into the desktop. I've attached a zip which is the auto save just before it crashed. I've also included the script I use, it hasn't been an issue before but I'm not ruling anything out...

Any help would be appreciated.

I ran the savegame you provided but didn't encounter any crashes.

Then I informed the dev team about the random crashes you experienced and they did a programming code comparison between version 11.0.29 and version 11.0.26 (is this the version you used before that was stable?) and didn't find any suspicious code that will potentially cause a crash.

How often did the crash happen?

Are there are steps that you take in the game that can reliably produce the same crash? If so, please let me know so that we can test it on our side.

I also suggest that you download the full installer of v11.0.29 and reinstall it and see if it makes any difference: viewtopic.php?t=9964

Yes I get some. Still try to figure out how it happen. But for sure I had 3 or more diffrent event´s with CTD and no messages. (all with RW MOD did not test with the base game at the moment)

Did the crash happen right after you clicked something?

Did it occur in v11.0.29 only or also v11.0.26 and earlier versions?

The problem I have is that it's completely random. I can't pinpoint anything that I am doing. I might be setting up a new product in a store, I might have just put a new building down. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. The biggest issue is that it just drops to the desktop with no error message, no log, nothing to assist. I've had errors before, but they were simple scripting issues that I could then fix.

Please try downloading the full installer version 11.0.30: viewtopic.php?t=9964

Although it doesn't have any code for fixing this random crash. The project was rebuilt again in Visual C++, so if the crash was caused by some random Visual C++ project building issues, it might help.

A few more questions about the crashes:

Which screen solution are you using for running the game?

Did the crash only happen right after you have done something? When you are just browsing the firm and didn't take any actions, have you ever experienced a crash with no error messages? This is help us determine whether it is a crash related to the AI code - AI runs even though you do nothing.

Do you remember if you have encountered such crashes in version 11.0.26 and earlier versions, or only in v11.0.28 and v11.0.29 ? This will help us isolate the crash bugs.

I have my screen res set to "1920 x 1080 scaled 200% 3840 x 2160".
I've never had any random crashes before.
It always happens after I have taken an action.

I installed the 11.0.30 version, and a bank went bankrupt that I had shares in. An error message popped up and it created an ErrorSAV file. I have included a screenshot of the error message but I can't upload the SAV file as it is too big.

Did you mean before version 11.0.28? In other words, you didn't have any crashes in version 11.0.27 and earlier versions? If not, which version is *before* ?

The info you provide will help us isolate the cause of the crash bug.

Also, please let me know if you encounter any new crashes with no message in version 11.0.30

What I mean is that there have never been these random crashes before 11.0.29.
