Errors in Natural Resource Production Volumes

Post by frozenflame »

So I'm noticing a few issues with the maximum production of natural resource firms, in both the base case and with the script line of "Natural Resource Firms Capacity Modifier=<50-500>" after saving and then loading the game again.

I've provided two files. With Base Game file, I've set up a gold mine in the first city, and you can see that the mine capacity for a mining unit is 300. I then saved the game, reloaded it, and then created a new gold mine in the second city. This mine has a capacity of 150 per unit. I'm not sure what's causing this bug, but it happens once you reload, the capacity is permanently halved. I'm not sure which is meant to be the actual capacity?

With the Nat Cap at 500 file, this is where I used the script of (Natural Resource Firms Capacity Modifier=500). You can see in the first city, the mine has an output of 1500 (which is 5X the 300 base), and once I saved and reloaded, I created a new gold mine, where the capacity is half of the base @ 150.

So regardless, once the game is loaded, the capacity is hard coded to half of the mining unit's capacity and cannot be changed. I've tested this across both mines and oil wells, and it's the same issue. Factory capacity is unchanged so it doesn't impact factories.

This is from the latest post-release version of 11.0.30.

The bug has been fixed. Please download the new patch v11.0.31 from viewtopic.php?t=9970

Please note that you will need to start a new game for the bug fix to become effective.
