Bug regarding Retail and Sales Rate

Post by ThePlague »

In Capitalism Lab, a product is compared to the market based on 3 categories:

Brand
Price
Quality

These factors combine to form the overall rating of a product.

The overall rating of my products is not just slightly better, but vastly superior to the competition. However, I am still unable to sell my products. I have even adjusted the price to match that of the competitors, which should theoretically cause my sales to skyrocket. Observation: Changing the price changes >nothing<!

I have the best quality, best brand, and as mentioned best overall rating by far. Still my sales which were actually ok in the past diminish and no matter what I do, I can't seem to find a solution.

I am playing with patch version 11.0.53

I really enjoy the game but it is not enjoyable under current circumstances.

Thats a save a few minutes earlier where I had not yet fired my COO, assuming that the drop of my sales has to do something with a COO not working propperly

and an even earlier save:

In addition to overall ratings, total product sales are also driven by customer traffic of your stores and the number of stores you have.

I checked desktop computers and notebook computers, two product types in which you have low market shares. There are many competitors with lots of retail outlets. I recommend that you open new retail stores in locations with high customer traffic to sell these products in order to increase your market shares.

Dear David,

thank you for checking the file.

However, it is not about computers and notebooks, rather I sell bare nothing refering to my software products. I seem to not even offer them in my shops eventhough my infrastructure is set up correctly. Please check again. Customer traffic can not be the reason for my issues as my shops are in malls with high traffic. Thanks

Please see the help text shown in the screenshot below. By following the instructions from the help text, you should be able to increase the sales of your software products.

Dear David,

thank you for your response.

I will check this again if there is a not yet activated automation which leads to not updating my software.

Else I'd have no explanation because each software has its own production hub.

Dear David,

thank you for your efforts. I wanted to let you know that you were right.

My revenues went up again from around 22 billions to 35 billions after the new versions of the software were released.

My compliments for all your support here <3
