Hi all,
I have a few questions - I want to transfer my component manufacturing (CPUs, Plastics etc) into a subsidiary to build up an 'Industrtial' Corp seperate from the retail etc. How do I also transfer the tech, or does the parent company tech automatically share with subsidiaries? Also, do expertise skills also effect the subsidiary?
Also, I'd like to explore the banking and insurance companies, but don't really get how they work. Banks particulary just seem to keep crashing and needing cash injections.
Finally, has anyone had any success playing 'atlernate' approaches? I've always wanted to try a non-retail game, but the Cap series always seems to depends on a strong retail wing and it's hard to just build up as a mining or real estate compnay for example. IS there a good set up to make such a game possible?
thanks!

Re: Subsidiaries and other questions
Your subsidiary would need to acquire each tech off you, you can do it through the subsidiary HQ. Your subsidiary will be affected by its CEO expertise.Andriko wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 5:43 pm Hi all,

Real estate is just a slow and steady, you can perhaps use tweaks and script settings to make it better but i think manufacturing/sales will still be better

Re: Subsidiaries and other questions
Hi All, I am not an accountant but is a consolidated Financial Statement possible between my Corporation and subsidiaries?
Is the dominate or lead of a product class not reflected in the main corporation?
For example: I want to produce all product types but under different subsidiaries
Like I want my main company to be a holding company with subsidiaries handling the business operation.
Is this not possible?

Re: Subsidiaries and other questions
each company is its own entity so it has its own financial statements and your main company will only show, in case your sub is private company, the total networth as Stock assets and in case the Sub is a public entity then the current trading value of all stocks you own on the Sub which can be an advantage if you have well operating and therefore speculative inflated Stock prices.niejjel wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 8:14 am Hi All, I am not an accountant but is a consolidated Financial Statement possible between my Corporation and subsidiaries?

and in case of market shares there every company is on its own too. same with brand rating.
if you want/need the market dominance in everything due to goals you want to do all with main company ... else you can still use a single brand strategy and a single brand name by using warehouses on your main and rebrand every product to your main companies name and then it doesnt matter which of your companies sells it ...
