Logistics company profitability

Post by C0Mr4d3 »

Is there any way to make the logistics company profitable?

The longer I play, the more unprofitable the logistics company becomes. The reason is because the revenue grows slower than the fixed costs.

Other than the IT system investments (which I already maxed out), is there any other way to decrease fixed costs or increase revenue?

Normally I don't get many issues with Logistics profitability in the longer term, it does take a few years to break even though. On most mods it is usually easier to make a profit due to the huge number of different products.

Certain game settings of course can also affect this, such as the overall freight costs and competition levels. Important to check that the competition isn't too high or the freight costs too low.

In other cases it might just be that there are not enough customers - you need a certain amount of freight volume overall to make it worthwhile. Maybe you need more competitors?
