Hi! David:
I think it is a little ambiguous when you say "The add-on will run as a separate game from the original Capitalism 2."
I have a question here.
Now I know that add-on can "run" separate from original. But it is a expansion or a stand-alone game? I mean, can add-on "install" with out original installed?
Like StarCraft & BroodWar: latter can run separate from former, but when you install latter, you must install former first.
Can you help me with this question please, David?
Thank you.
Is Add-on a stand-alone game?

Re: Is Add-on a stand-alone game?
Capitalism Lab will require Capitalism 2 to run, but it won't replace Capitalism 2.
Capitalism Lab is for experimental implementations of new game ideas whereas Capitalism 2 is for users who want to play multiplayer games and campaign scenarios, which won't be available in Capitalism Lab.
Capitalism Lab will be selling at a lower price and will be available to all Capitalism 2 owners in the 3rd phase of the release plan.
phase 3) open beta - all users will be able to download the add-on for free.

Due to its experimental nature, we don't have a definite release schedule. We will keep posting the development progresses on this forum. When we think that we have made enough progress on the development, the first phase of the plan will commence.
For any feedback and suggestions you guys post on this forum, we may consider implementing them if we find them applicable.
