CapLab Post-Release Beta version 2.1.02 patch is now available.
You may download the latest patch 2.1.02 from:
http://www.capitalismlab.com/capserver/ ... CL2102.zip
Then extract the ZIP file to your Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the Capitalism Lab program folder.
(savegame files and user-defined layout plans from the previous versions are not compatible with this new version.)

Improvements to the Layout Plan Library
In the layout library, there are now separate sections for default designs and a separate section for player designs.
Improved the interface element placements on the library library. The new version should be more intuitive to use.
Added an icon on the factory/farm/R&D center/natural resource firm screen as a shortcut for opening the Library Plan Library.
Add a new Wildcard Factory Plan folder on the Layout Plan Library.

Added shortcut key [F7] to call up the Layout Plan Library on the firm detail view.
Improvements to the Hiring System
There will be a person without any expertise, regardless of which AI expertise setting you have selected on the new game setting menu. This allows you to hire a COO for a lower salary cost, which is particularly useful when your company is at its early growth stage.
The person is usually listed as the 2nd person on the Person Report in the Information Center. Such a person will never set up a company on his/her own, and thus is always available for hire.
In addition, the total number of persons in a game has been increased to 50, providing you with more choices when it comes to hiring senior managers.
Finally, the salaries of COO, CMO and CTO have been adjusted for improved gameplay balance.
