Hi.
I have a few suggestions. This first post will be about your staff and how they should be compensated.
The officers of your company
I think the game should put more emphasis on the delegation of responsibility to your COO, CMO and CTO.
For instance, you should be able to tell your CTO which technologies to focus on developing, and how to develop theese. The CTO should also be able to have responsibility of operations at your factories and farms.
Similarly, the CMO could be given operations responsibility for your media firms, and given certain guiding principles on how to run theese. Also, the CMO could be told to create a marketing campaign or something like that.
The Company COO could be given more guiding principles and direct orders in regards to price setting, internal sale and so forth.
Other officers??
What about hiring your own CFO?
What about creating a new department with responsibility of investing in stocks or real estate?
What about a departement dedicated to direct sales?
What about having several officers in one department, maybe with one or more vice presidents?
What about an officer solely responsible for finding new opportunities for the company?
The only thing that a COO is good for in cap2 is price setting, and that´s because it´s so annoyingly timeconsuming to do so yourself. The ability to change the way your company operates without having to fine tune all the buttons will only make it more playable.
Better hiring pool and pay
Implementing theese opportunities would also require an updated version of the hiring pool. The specialities of the different people should perhaps be set up in a different way so that it is easy to distinguish between the traits of different people.
When your COO requires $275 million per year, and you´re making a hundred mill as CEO and chairman, where´s the logic?
The level of compensation should be adjusted. And i would suggest that the salaries your COO wants, should depend more on how much self interest they have in the company´s well being. That is, if they own stock in the company for example.
In real life, executive staff demands some sort of result- based compensation. Stock options and bonuses are strong incentives and a combination of theese and regular fixed salaries are a far better method than to just hand your employees some dollars.
You should be able to give more to your employees if you want, and this should create more satisfied staff, and in turn they would be getting more done. And everybody is happy.
Board of Directors
Why not include this in the game? You can add a new interface, the board room, and here you can get advice from your board members. Maybe large investors in the company will force their way into your board rooms? Maybe some decisions such as large stock purchases must pass through the board? This is easy if you own 100% of the company, but if i´t´s 50%, it´s not that easy.

Re: suggestions of improvement
Next, i want to see some changes about company structure and the dynamics in the stock exchange.
I discovered a bug yesterday. It was kinda funny. I owned lots of media firms that were giving me a steady RoI, and i had a subsidiary company that i Owned 100 %, and that company controlled the Market, with a lot of tech and brand value at its hands. Now, i wanted to merge my media realm into this other company, because i wanted to keep all of the brands of this other company. I sucessfully managed to shift the ownership of the subsidiary into my private hands, sold my media corp, and bought it with my other company. Of course, i had put the game on pause while doing this. i was excited because i didn´t know how the game was going to react to this. But my heart burst when the game stopped. It crashed. i tried again and again to make sure, but it was a goner.
This merger was not anything like what i would do in real life. In real life, I would have complete power over any company where i owned more than 50 % of the preferred stock. Should i choose to do so, i might have wanted to split the company into its real estate part on one hand and the rest at the other.I might have taken it off the open market (as I would with any company where i owned 100%). And the little prick calling himself CEO would be just another subordinate.
So, what i´m really saying here is that the way in which a company operates in the game should be more similar to the way we do things in real life.
Here´s the list of new features that i would like to see implemented in the game:
Being able to set up new companies and dismantle them.
Choosing a CEO for each company where you own a majority stake.
Being able to change the policies of all companies that you own
Extraordinary dividends so that you can pay out earnings that have occured in previous years and so on.
Setting the frequecy of the dividends
Choosing to take a company off the stock exchange, with the opportunity to relist it with a new IPO.
Stock prices cannot fluctuate like they do now. I suggest that the game has an order book for each share listed on the stock exchange, and that you are able to place a teakeover bid for the whole company.

It is a great ideal! In the middle game time, its make me crazy to adjust all building rental. If any officers can help me to do these works, I can give them high salary.
