Q: How can I download and install Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta?

A: Firstly, you can download the full game installer from the Announcements section on the “Capitalism Lab – Post-Release Beta Version” : http://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=10

After installing the game, you may check if there are any new patches available. If so, you may download the latest patch and apply it.


Q: How can I apply the patch?

A: After downloading the patch, you will have to extract the ZIP file to your Capitalism Lab program folder. Here are the steps:

1) Open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta program folder.

2) Double-click on the ZIP file to open it and extract all the files in the ZIP to the Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta program folder.

(If your Windows do not have the tool to open the ZIP file, you may download WinRAR for free from http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)

Apologies if this has been asked and answered (which I'm sure it has) but one only needs to download the latest patch to benefit from all patches, correct? Or is it necessary to download and apply all patches individually?

That's what I figured but just wanted to make sure.

I tried to install the latest patch, but I am having some problems. I downloaded the new patch then moved it into the Cap Lab folder, and hit "Extract Here". The game will start, and play normally but the patch hasn't been added.




What do I do?

If the previous version you were using is 2.0.x, you will have to first download the game installer at:

I was following those instructions .

2) Double-click on the ZIP file to open it and extract all the files in the ZIP to the Capitalism Lab program folder.

Do you have to move the ZIP file over to the Cap Lab game folder?
Or just right click on the file, and hit extract?
