CapLab Post-Release Beta version 2.3.07 patch now available

CapLab Post-Release Beta version 2.3.07 patch is now available via auto patch.

This is a minor patch that mainly contains bug fixes. It is also a candidate for the release version of Capitalism Lab. In other words, when it has proven stable enough, this update will become available to all users who are using the release version of Capitalism Lab.

You may also download the patch manually from: http://www.capitalismlab.com/capserver/ ... 072300.zip
Then extract the ZIP file to your Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the Capitalism Lab program folder.

Please note that this is a patch for the post-release version and you should only apply this patch manually if you are currently using version 2.3.00 or above.

Changes:
The game difficulty levels of the pre-defined scripts have been reduced.
Fixed a bug that prevented changes to the player name and the company name from taking efffect for script games.
Fixed a display bug with the Person Expertise page.
Fixed the bug with typing a firm description.

Was the version number in game changed? It keeps showing me 2.3.06, both on the title screen and on the loadgame menu. Upon logging-in the third try I did see a message about be patched from .04 to .07 I think (I click too fast) which I've never seen before, but it still shows 2.3.06.

I think that I see changes, but it's hard for me to be certain about tell for these ones.

And I hope I'm not going senile.

I was offered to download new patch, but there is warning that save game is not compatible.Is it true?I wouldn't want to start again.

My save games from the .06 & .05 continued to work. Most of the post-release patch were not compatible with saved games but the last three have been nice to us for some reason...

Two options:

1. Reinstall Cap Lab and apply .06 patch
2. Rename folder appy .06 patch in new folder; Reinstall Cap lab and apply .07 patch. Now you have both the latest and your old game save.
