This is an exploit, that combined with the warehouse Ponzi scheme, result in a loophole that definitely qualify as a bug.
The save file, is purely doing toothpaste in a 200% setting inverse inflation normal game (you can use any product you like, as long as it's an unclaimed market). I set up a 60 warehouses chain to boost its price 100,000 fold (selling at nearly 1m per toothpaste). After bloating the price, the city rating went insane into tens of thousand points. Hence I am able to sell the million golden toothpaste to end customers in drug stores. I sold them to all 7 cities, using more local chains to find optima local price. And just after a year, my company accumulated trillions of cash, and could paid myself 1 trillion salary. (Also, this seemed to break the common stock calculation, and it became negative)
In 4 years, I boost the price even higher, and fully saturated every city with my superman toothpaste, and my personal wealth reached more than 2 quadrillion. (yes, it's 2 million billion wealth). At this point, this is just broken.

In a way, this is mostly fixed.
You can not use any product to do it anymore, but only to not-yet invented products (which has no rating at all). Also, due to constant -100 rating, AI will catch up eventually. And the warehouse chain need to be extremely long to boost the price to ridiculously high. Like 1 trillion a piece with hundreds of warehouses and just sell a couple. It's not feasible in a normal game, you will go broke before you even start (unless in a scripted game).

Did you mean you could still set a product price to an extremely high amount? I tested the latest version and I was never able to set a price that high. How could you do that?Like 1 trillion a piece with hundreds of warehouses and just sell a couple.
Would you please provide your save game file for our examination?

Since the warehouse Ponzi scheme still apply, so you can still inflate the price as high as you like (I suppose, since I only try up to 1 trillion). But the problem is, since when you move goods from warehouse to warehouse, there is a grace period when one warehouse needs to pay another, hence temporary the amount of cash equal to the inventory will be removed during transaction. So in order for this trick still applies in the first place, you need a script from the start to give yourself trillions of cash in reserve to grace through the warehouse setup period.
It's kinda defeat the purpose of making few trillion, if you need hundreds of trillion to set it up in the first place. And I don't think it could be done in a normal game setting. It originally worked, because you can inflate the price on stages, and slowly building longer chain while you build up cash, and it could be done with any product not sold. Now it's a one shot deal with a new product market, and better pray it does sell a couple at -100.
