In my game when I have on-going training & new equipment in a facility I put it up for sale (since the AI doesn't ever offer to buy them) so that I have a visual indicator of which firms to check back on. I don't know of an elegant solution for this.

Re: In-Game Markers

^ This would be nice to have in Capitalism Lab, also a way to tell if a building has R&D spending in place would be useful. Like some type of visual indicator of which firms are spending on R&D. Currently I use for sale signs on my factories to help me quickly identify where I have R&D projects.

Factory taggen
this would be a win for the game for sure.
but maybe it also could be done like this.
like the map function you got a pop up window(or list) for factories you want to keep an eye on because you just built them.
so you click on the factory map icon (just like the world map or citymap) and then you have a list or pop up windows for those factories.
