Can't purchase Research and Development Firms

Some R&D firms run by AI have for sale signs but I can't buy them.

This will be fixed in version 2.4.02.

You can purchase them, but you have to go to the Firms view (the F button on the top left panel). Filter by showing all "firms for sale" and you will see the firms with the R&D centers. You can buy directly from that screen. If you click on the "go to" button, you will not be able to buy directly from the R&D center screen. Hope that makes sense, if not ask again and I'll try to be more detailed.

Patch 2.4.05E seems to fix this bug

After purchasing some competitor R&D firms, I got the following error..."Jobs Array [] deleted" and then the game crashes to desktop. It may not be related to the purchase of R&D firms though since I've purchased them and closed them before without this error. Any ideas?
