Distance from CBD

In Commercial buildings, how do i decrease the distance from CBD ( to make the buildings more in demand)

By building them nearer to the central business district (which is usually recognizable in each city by lots of business and public buildings that don´t belong to a player)

How do i know before han that which area is CBD ?
Is it near the bank or stock exchange? As except these two rest all can be owned by players

Yes, IIRC those 2 buildings are always found at/around the CBD

I had a game where the stock exchange and bank were far apart. CBD seemed to be highest near the stock exchange.
