Hello,
I bought Capitalism Lab like, 10 minutes ago, and I have come across two issues so far;
- (less severe) my mouse lags/stutters when I'm in the Livestock window (choosing between cattle, sheep, pigs, and chicken) for some strange reason. It does not lag when I choose livestock processing.
- (quite annoying one) the default internal sale option doesn't seem to work for me! I am 100% certain that I have it on "Enabled", but whenever I produce something, it begins disabled (not highlighted)! This has happened to all my products so far; frozen beef, pork and lamb, leather wallet, and textiles. I find this quite disappointing as this option works in Capitalism II. I think it's very important that this option works, because the Al, being a scripted computer, instantly buys your semi-products and products the very millisecond they are ready. Also, I like to put very low prices between my farms, factories and retail stores, because I always use internal sales, and never external.
EDIT: Well, that's exactly what happened... My competitor sold my frozen pork even when I had toggled internal sale on at the farm...
Well, I could wait and hope that the issues solve themselves automatically, but would you mind looking into it?

Re: Default Internal Sale doesn't work!
Welcome to the CapLab forums!
You might want to check the version of the game you're running since its a new purchase. Upper right corner of the main menu will give you the version.
You can find patches to the retail version in this thread: http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=10
I know the mouse lag issues have been patched out in the later versions but don't recall encountering the internal sale issue as I set it on a firm specific level and have default set to off. The change logs might have more info if that issue has been addressed.
You can also provide your save game file for them to test internally. Info on how to do that can be found here: http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... f=10&t=487

Re: Default Internal Sale doesn't work!
Thank you for the friendly welcome!
I feel a bit confused about this. Is it just me who encounter these bugs, and everyone else runs the game perfectly?

As far as I know, my retail version of Capitalism Lab is 2.4.08 (at least that's what's showing in the upper right corner). Is this the newest one? I haven't patched it or anything; I'm just using the one that came with the download. You might want to check the version of the game you're running since its a new purchase. I see. Would you mind linking me to the change logs?I know the mouse lag issues have been patched out in the later versions but don't recall encountering the internal sale issue as I set it on a firm specific level and have default set to off. Well, I have setup DropBox now, but I'm not sure what to do with it. That link is located under the post-release beta version, and I have an issue with the retail one (I actually encountered these issues in the post-release 2.5.03B as well though). Unless it's not allowed, I will link my saved game right here (Cap. Lab 2.4.08); https://www.dropbox.com/s/iuxwq5lh52vnctt/ELIS_005.SAVYou can also provide your save game file for them to test internally. Hi Econ. I just installed 2.4.08 Release and patched with CR24082402.zip, and I can confirm both these issues.I feel a bit confused about this. Is it just me who encounter these bugs, and everyone else runs the game perfectly?

Re: Default Internal Sale doesn't work!
I've download your save file, and I don't have these issue though. As far as I can tell, the default internal sale works perfectly fine. I manually set all the internal sells in your farms and factories at the point of the save, no problem. Add new production line, it default to internal. Add new factories, also no problem. I only re-installed from the installer, and not-apply the new patch yet.
Besides from a patch related problem, maybe it's a file setting problem, try run the game as system administrator, and make sure the file in the install folder is not read-only. If you want to re-install, also make sure run the installer as system administrator.
P.S. I've run your save to Jan, 2002, it all seemed fine. As attached

Re: Default Internal Sale doesn't work!
Hello, counting!
I've done something stupid I think. I thought them being highlighted meant that Internal Sale was enabled, but maybe it means the opposite! When "Internal sale" is darkened, it means it's on, right?
Well, the stuttering in the livestock and growing window is still there, but I can live with that...

Re: Default Internal Sale doesn't work!
Yes, in the factory and farm product windows, when "bottom pressed" (darken) it's "internal sale on".
The flickering or stuttering problem maybe related to display card, or insufficient memory. Even perhaps with sound files problem, since animals have different set of sound files. I never encounter similar issue before. It's very difficult to tell what caused it without some detail information.
