Inaccurate shareholder's pie chart portion
Inaccurate shareholder's pie chart portion
I was trying to test the difficult setting, and see what's best for new players, by doing so I deliberately make bad decisions, like selling most of company's share etc. AI's flood to buy my share. However, when I go to the shareholder's pie chart, I noticed something not quite right. The portion of each shareholder is wrong. The public share is supposed to be more than 25% or around 1/4 of the pie chart, but obviously it's not in this graph. I cut and paste the list of all shareholders into 1 figure, so it's easy to see which one holds how many percentages. And you can see my COO's 14.57% portion is larger than the public shareholders' 25.58% portion as well.

Re: Inaccurate shareholder's pie chart portion
Here it is. And it happened not just for human player's corporation, I found out that in other games, AI's corporation shareholder's pie chart has the same problem, it seems there will be a portion inaccuracy when there are certain amount of small percentages shareholders.
Also I found that not always for difficulty setting around 50% is best for new players. In order to show case most game features, there's a "friendly" setting close to 100% still easy enough, especially for seaport import quality to be moderate, a little bit more AIs, high economy realism, and let AI to be a least moderate competent. I put it in second save files (And somehow it's smaller)

Re: Inaccurate shareholder's pie chart portion
Please try the latest version 2.5.10 and see if the problem still persists.
Re: Inaccurate shareholder's pie chart portion
More accurate than before, but still a few pixels off from reflecting the exact proportion. Like here, 50% ownership should give a straight half pie, but from the red guideline seen in the next picture, it's still not exactly right. (Not even half if it's 51%)

Re: Inaccurate shareholder's pie chart portion
It seems that game attempts to show at least one thin slice for shareholders with very small percentages of shares (e.g. 0.64%) and this may reduce the size of the pie slice of the largest one a bit (e.g. the player's share which is 50%).
Re: Inaccurate shareholder's pie chart portion
So will this graphical glitch be fixed in future patch?
