i.e. click in factory to link a supplier for a rawmaterial, once the list of all suppliers opens if you press "W" to choose wool, it will close the factory and opens up a different company window. same happens when in a shop.
This bug will be fixed in patch v3.1.01.

new script value:
subsidiaries=0
own company private with $5m startup
will actually give you a 75% owned subsidiary (i got goodyear with 240million cash)
my own private company is $185 million heavy at startup
removing the subsidiaries out of script by "//" them or even deleting them does not change the fact that i get a subsidiary company for free at start this time michelin with $200m. guess needs to be done something as a $5m startup is pointless with a 200m subsidiary
These issues will be fixed in the next patch.

I've heard mention of a Debug mode, how does one turn that on? I've been getting ".cpp" errors many times while playing... mixtures of Mods & my own customization, I would hope that with a debug monitor I could isolate the cause and either play around it, or give better feedback.
I'm a programmer by trade, albeit in the Healthcare industry, and half my fun is in working the game rather than playing it.

FYI, we have sent Debug build to an avid player who was willing to help us track down a crash bug that did not display any error message.
Now that the bug has been fixed.

We will investigate the problem.
Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) Which version of Capitalism Lab you are using. You can see the version number on the top-right of the main menu.
2) The exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game
3) Please let us know the MOD's version number.
You can find save game files of Capitalism Lab from:
C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta\SAVE
You may provide us with your save game file by posting it here on the forum as a ZIP file attachment or email the save game file to us at

We have received your save game file and managed to fix the bug.
The next patch v3.1.02 will contain the bug fix.
In the meantime, you can get around the problem by enabling "Semi-products" in the Scope of Production screen (see below screenshot) for all your subsidiaries.

Ah hah! Thanks, I tried it with the latest RealWorld(10.31) mod and found it wasn't the problem. So happy you guys were able to find it. In RealWorld10.31 it was LayoutPlan.cpp line 101 I believe.

We have found another bug that caused the problem.
For example, when you Pizza from the Scope of Production List is enabled while Cheese are disabled. As one of the Pizzas requires Cheese to produce, this will cause the error.
We will improve this in the next patch v3.1.02 by having the game automatically enable Cheese when you enable Pizza, for example.
In the meantime, you may get around the problem by enabling Cheese and other similar input products.
