Subsidiary DLC Open Beta Patch version 3.2.03B is now available for download from:

This patch must be applied on top of Version 3.0.19 or later. If your version is not 3.0.19, please download the full version 3.0.19 installer from http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... =37&t=2763
Then extract the ZIP file to your Early Access version of Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab Post-release Beta game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the folder.
(The saved game files from versions older than 3.2.03 are not compatible.)

COO/CEO - Backward Integration
This determines whether the CEO may build factories, farms and natural resource firms to supply raw materials and semi products to existing factories that need them.
New: The higher the slider's value, the higher the tendency to set up firms for backward integration.
COO/CEO - Low Supply Tolerance Level
If the value is set to low, the AI has lower tolerance of low supply and have greater tendency to look for new supply.
CMO - Target brand rating
The higher the slider's value, the higher the brand rating the CMO will target to achieve by advertising.

will actually give you a 75% owned subsidiary (i got goodyear with 240million cash)
my own private company is $185 million heavy at startup
removing the subsidiaries out of script by "//" them or even deleting them does not change the fact that i get a subsidiary company for free at start this time michelin with $200m. guess needs to be done something as a $5m startup is pointless with a 200m subsidiary
also subsidaries need to be used as pricerobot only aswell if it shall retail properly. else it just messes up everything like 19 shops were filled with 14 different farm products (4purchase, 8 sales unit each product) if he has any permission and be it just to look for better supplies, the ceo of the sub messes up and sells in about 50% of this slots beef, not that he leaves the beef slots.. no beef gets replaced with eggs, eggs replaced with beef, he changes everything.

just tried turned it to minimum, ran it for 5 years they didn't switch supply on that factory shown above, even with the farm & textile factory I had built nearby

also with invest in stocks forbidden for ceo of sub, he sells the stock once the company the stock is from, offers a buyback, i dont want him to be active in stocks, havent really anything to play until a new patch comes to fix the scripting issue and not even playing in stocks is an option because this stupid cunt is selling out my stock.

Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) Where exactly is that factory located.
2) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.

don't think I kept a copy sorry was just a quick test. if I get time in the week I will try repeat it.
also setting up firms as "property only" doesn't seem to work, they don't build anything. (with this patch and real world 10.31)(and on one occasion my subsidiary changed itself to a stock focused company)
also the game speed button isn't solid, like the menus you already fixed, if you try to change the game speed and there is a building underneath, it selects the building not the speed control

w shortcuts for the linking of products arent working in V 3.1.0
i.e. click in factory to link a supplier for a rawmaterial, once the list of all suppliers opens if you press "W" to choose wool, it will close the factory and opens up a different company window. same happens when in a shop.

Speaking of "Short Cuts"... I would love to have a hot key to build a R&D center... I usually lay down 50 or so of these things and the:
"B+Click+Click+Click+F7+U" is rather unwieldy. A Ctrl+Shift+<mapped key> would be a great enhancement, then you could just click to place...
I may try a macro product.
