my COO is changeing to other products to sell in retail stores

this game was originaly created in 1.989 and i witnessed the problem but is now on 1.991 and still has the problem

1) Did it happen to your retail store or factory?
2) Did the original supplier will supplying you with the products, so that the COO has to find a product to continue the supply?

When you assign a COO to run your firm, the COO AI will pick an supply item for you regardless of the setting, if the purchasing units is idle (no supplier linked).

i suppose it could be from accidently hitting the stop suppler as it was one of my factories that was supplying cigarettes.
and your explanation explains why new stores have been automatically getting items selected.
