CapLab Post-Release Beta version 2.3.03 patch now available

CapLab Post-Release Beta version 2.3.03 patch is now available via auto patch.

You may also download the patch manually from: http://www.capitalismlab.com/capserver/ ... 032300.zip
Then extract the ZIP file to your Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the Capitalism Lab program folder.

Please note that this is a patch for the post-release version and you should only apply this patch manually if you are currently using version 2.3.00 or above.

(Save game files from older versions are not compatible with this new version.)

Please note that this is a post-release version patch and you should previously have version 2.3.00 or above installed in order to apply this patch.

Hi guys, I will try keep it simple

Game crash/fail to restore:
Sometimes, When the game becomes minimised, when i try to maximise it to continue playing, it hits full screen with a black screen for a split second then minimises again, no error notification is displayed. I have tried to narrow it down to what causes it but am yet to find a definite trigger, i think it has something to do with low power state settings, but it hasn't happened with other games. Exiting the game via "task manager" and relaunching it did not rectify it. Only a reboot seemed to fix it. Running latest Nvidia Drivers on the pc and intel drivers on the laptop. It has happened more on the intel chipset. The laptop has recent a clean install with only W7 Ultimate, Office Pro 2010, Eset security, CapII and Caplabs, VLC Player. All products are legitimate and installation media has come direct from the developers.

Product filter lists:
When selecting a supply for a purchase unit, the filter drop down menus no longer retain the filter setting used while in the same retail outlet, it now has to be selected each time you enter a new purchase unit. It used to remember my choice. Not sure if this is worth mentioning.
The ability to toggle the filters and warehouse button would be convenient in my opinion.

Auto Supplier link Option: (question/suggestion)
Is there an option to set up "auto link" to only use products from owned assets, regardless of the price and or quality.
Is there an option to set up "auto link" to only use products from controlled assets.

Will get this fixed in the next patch.

The script used for generating the challenge game is also available for viewing under the "script" subfolder of the Capitalism Lab game folder. It may serve as an example for users to create their own scripts.

No, i was running in full screen. I haven't had it happen on windowed mode, but in saying that, i only play windowed mode on my pc (40" LED).
