Chief Operating Officer behaviour problem

Post by Black »

My COO is changing products in my retail stores, even if i didnt allow it.

These are my COO settings:

And here you can see 3 products that my COO changed (all products i was selling were linked from seaport):

Is it supposed to be like this, or is it a bug? (it's a little annoying to be honest :) )

If the supplier didn't run out of product or connection didn't "drop" then it seems like its a bug.

It may be that suplly in seaport stopped, however with option "Look for better products to sell in retail stores" set to No i was expecting to get notified about it. Seems like it's not the case.
Is there any other option which i can use to tell my COO not to change my products?

If there's no supply or an empty purchase unit then the COO feels that its his responsibility to source a product that would increase the profitability of the store. The only adjustment you could've have made is to have change the setting for Look for better supplies from own firms only. If he could not find a product to supply then it should stay emptied, but if he could he would stock it and it would be one of your firm products. I don't know of a way to stop the COO from using a non-productive unit in a firm that has been delegated to them.

If you COO did not supply that unit then you would've been notified.
