Latest patch updating v2.4.00 to v2.4.01

Capitalism Lab release version 2.4.01 patch is now available for download at
http://www.capitalismlab.com/capserver/ ... 012400.zip

Please only use this patch ONLY if you are already running the version 2.4.00
If you haven't installed the version 2.4.00, please follow this link instead: http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... =10&t=1753

Then extract the ZIP file to your Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab Post-release Beta game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the Capitalism Lab program folder.

This is a bug fix patch that addresses the following issues:
Fixed the crash bug that may happen when using the new stock market filter.
Fixed the bug with the government color code.
Fixed the bug with calculations of land prices.
Fixed a bug that may trigger a crash while using the “acquire tech” interface.

This will be fixed in version 2.4.02.

There is one thing with this new version I have not noticed before, it is not really a bug, but it does make things more difficult. COO always resigns, no matter what after less than a year. No matter how much I increase their salary they just resign.

Now that is no longer possible to choose who will manage each company, the COO simply does not work. My company has $ 50 billion in revenue and profit is only $ 1 billion. =/

You can't delegate per firm for the COO?

No. The firm, when I click on "my" photo, I am directed to the list "Persons".

Sorry if this question have been answer some where elese and sorry for my english.

Im planing and purchasing CapLab Next Week and I Have my old Copy of Capitalism2 and my PC at Home.

My Question.

1. I Have to upgrade my Capitalism2 with the available Patch (I did not know about them)

2. How the Instalation of the CapLab goes i have read about Version 2 Release and about Beta release and that they go in seprate directories, and im a litle confuse if some one could explain me i will be thangfull.

And Sorry for my english again Im from Panama and I speak Spanish.

P.D. Great Job with the CapLab it looks very interested and Im very Excited to Purchasing it and Playing the game with more cities and more competition and, etc ... .

if you're on Windows 7 or Window 8 the directories of the game can be found at C:\Users\<your username name>\AppData\Local

The Folders are called:

Capitalism Lab - For the Release version (fully tested) of Capitalism Lab
Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta - This is where the beta version and patches are applied
