Hi,
it seems to me that I found a bug. I started a new game build a farm that produce frozen beef. But one of my three livestock processing units doesn't work. I tried to reconect the unit but it doen't help.
Hope the screenshot will help.
P.S: I use the latest patch 2.5.10

Re: Processing Unit doesn't work
It's actually not a bug, your first 2 processing units are higher at level than livestock units, as you can see in the screen, the livestock supply can't keep up, hence it has 0% utilization. I bet the first 2 processing units are not fully utilized either. The setup with current layout essentially has the same output as 3 livestock 2 processing and 1 output (when you can't keep up supply for demand, there's no point using inventory either)
At low training level, usually twice the amount of livestock units are needed to fully saturated processing units for pastures (I think egg, milk, wool are the exceptions). When they reach high level the ratio will come closer to 1.

Re: Processing Unit doesn't work
Hmm... Maybe I jumped to conclusion too soon. I was also able to recreate the bug. The trigger seems to come from linking a source that has be exerted already to a processing unit, it disregards the original source and keep under supply even if it has been re-linked back to the original source. To trigger the bug, use the first save PLAY_011 "leather bug", and link the sheep source to the leather processing unit of leather shown in the picture with cursor, the result is in the second save PLAY_012.

Re: Processing Unit doesn't work
The Livestock Processing Unit is confused because it is connected to two Livestock Raising Units. In fact, a Livestock Processing Unit can work with one Livestock Raising Unit only.
To resolve it, first disconnect the one of the livestock raising units from it, then click "Select Product" button in the Livestock Processing Unit and select the product to be processed, and it will work again.

Re: Processing Unit doesn't work
Hmm... I think the problem is the "action" of "disconnect-linking" or "linking" doesn't automatically recheck the supply from livestock raising unit to livestock processing unit, even if the product is the same "leather". And once it's under-supply, there is no periodic check to re-balance the supply either. Hence players need to manually click "select product" to "jump start" the livestock supply themselves.
However, once its balanced, the setup similar to the original post would look like this, the bottom processing unit's utilization is stabilized between 77% to 80%.
BTW, multiple livestock raising units connect to livestock processing unit WORKS and ALWAYS works since Cap2. This is the first time I heard about one livestock processing unit only works with one livestock raising unit. In fact, even AI does this all the time.
Below are what you can observe AIs' pasture layouts, linking multiple raising units to a processing unit, or supplying multiple processing units with just one raising unit. Clearly both work.

Re: Processing Unit doesn't work
I think the game treats the Leather product from sheep and the Leather product from cattle differently and therefore it is necessary to relink it.Hmm... You are right. The correct statement should be: A livestock processing unit only works with one type of livestock. (e.g. a livestock processing unit cannot process both cattle and sheep at the same time.)BTW, multiple livestock raising units connect to livestock processing unit WORKS and ALWAYS works since Cap2.
