well, i put my question in the title, but here it is again:

simple this: Why can't you sell a sportwatch in a sports store?

Probably because of the product class defines it a jewelry, i know. But it doesn't make sense. Put in the product class 'sports equipment'.

This is an easy fix.

And when you are at it: put the 'silver watch' and the 'elegant watch' in the jewelry class, so you can dismiss the watch class. it's just not necessary.

With the new mod function, it's easy enough for you to fix it yourself. Just edit the product_types.dbf for products you want them to be different. It's why mod is developed in the first place, since it's not possible to customize a game for everyone's taste and preference.

hmh, yes, the mod. You are right about that. But as far as I know it's still to limited to do some really interesting MOD'ing with it. changin logo's, names and avatars isn't a improvement of the gameplay. And that's really what I'm after with most of my suggestions.

Ya, mod has limitation, but this particular suggestion is 100% doable with current MOD ability. And honestly very simple.
