I'm fairly new to this game and I'm scratching my head constantly, but with this I'm really banging my head against the wall.
So I have 3 stores in the same city selling the same gold rings imported from the same warehouse and all 3 stores sell at the same price.
Now the thing is, 2 stores are emptying their shelves rapidly with a HUGE demand (same demand on both stores) these two stores both have a traffic rating around 60.
The third store has about 50% demand vs. supply, and is barely selling anything, this store has a traffic rating above 80.
My market share is about 50%. All stores use the same layout with 2 purchase, 7 sales units.
If there is such a huge demand for my gold rings, shouldn't the store in the attractive location increase in demand along with the other 2? Say if I control 100% of the market, then the stores in the locations with lower traffic rating suffer sales first, right?
Also tried fast forwarding as the supply/demand bars take a long time to update. Months later, no change.
Would realy appritiate it if someone would help shed some light on this. Is it a bug or am I missing something?
Uneven supply/demand, good location=less sales?

Are levels of sales units the same? Units with higher levels operate more efficiently = able to sell more.

The store with lower demand has better sales units, but that can't be it. The store is selling less quantity even with better sales units. Like I said, shelves are always full.rmax wrote:Are levels of sales units the same? Units with higher levels operate more efficiently = able to sell more.
Only things i can think of why one store would sell less is if the rings sold har different prices or quality. But they are exacly the same.

Maybe screenshots or savegame may help a bit to find out what is the matter.

Re: Uneven supply/demand, good location=less sales?
I noticed the problem now, you were right the first time I just looked at the wrong store. The high traffic rated store store with 7 level 6 sales units was selling a quantity of 1400 while the two stores with 7 level 1 units was selling 1200, that explains the supply/demand bars.
But why are all the sales units utilization bars at 100% in the level 6 store? I thought 100% meant the unit is "outputing" at max capacity, or is the sales unit utilized even tho no sales are being made?
