The backward integration concept is a really great addition to the game in theory. However, how exactly is it suppose to work? I'm not sure how to test it because I don't know what factors cause the sub to actually produce a product. Does it just look at your factories? Does it consider factories?
Also is there set factors that determine when it expands current production?

Re: Backward Integration
Does anyone know how to test this to see if it is truly working as intended?

Re: Backward Integration
well... in my game I had this option enabled but after creating my subsidiary and giving them my production of golden rings/silver necklaces + golden mine + silver mine, the CEO left the mines empty and stopped producing those products.

Re: Backward Integration
If this option is disabled, you ban the CEO from doing backward integration.
If this option is enabled, it is up to the CEO to decide what to do. (But it does not mean that the CEO will definitely perform backward integration as he/she may have different priorities on what to do with the company's funds.)
