Product branding issue when setting up subsidiary

I've set up a subsidiary which focuses only on resources, rnd and production, while my main corporation focuses on retail. My retail corporation uses "corporate brand" policy while subsidiary uses "unique brand".

I've set the subsidiary to manufacture everything and sell it to me at an internal low price but unfortunately that way my brand policy wouldn't apply to a product, so i've added warehouses which are owned by my main corporation and import products from factories owned by a subsidiary. At first this didn't work either and the products still had subsidiary branding, however when i changed ownership of the warehouse back and forth between subsidiary CEO and myself - it applied my brand over subsidiary product.

So i am wondering whether this is a bug and i shouldn't be able to use my brand over subsidiary products at all or importing the products should automatically apply my brand to them or whether i should use labelling to do that?

Personally i feel that we should have a setting in the corporate details->brand section to apply main corporation branding over the products automatically and without labelling expenditures, so whether you import products from subsidiary warehouses, factories or mines they would be branded depending on your choice.

yeah the only way to do that is through labelling. I personally think that labelling maybe the best way to go from the game perspective too.

I know for my game play I do wish you could transfer a brand though. I usually will produce a line of products myself for a while and then transfer them to a new sub to help manage the business, but when I do that I have to start branding all over again. It would be nice if I could transfer the brand like I transfer the firms.
