COO throws away stock in purchase unit on "stop purchase"

Post by bob »

As with the other COO issue I'v posted:

COO is neither set to look for better products to sell in retail store, nor to look for better supplies. Autolinking in the retail stores is DISABLED.

I'v started with product A and several retail stores, each with 4x PURCHASE units. All purchase units sold product A.
I'v introduced product B and wanted to switch 2/4 of the PURCHASE units of all my retail stores to product B. I did not want to throw away its stock though.
So what I did was stopping the 2/4 units from buying new products (A), to later link product B.

I instantly noticed when going through the list of retail stores, that all of said 2/4 units were switched to product B automatically. All stock they had was gone faster then it could be sold.

best would be to take control of the shops when switching around as once you stop purchase, the units count as unused and the coo gonna relink to whatever he likes if you let him handle the shop while restructuring. if i do restructure in any sub corp, i always take control of the shops and hand back control to the ceo after i am done.
