Real estate
I wish there was a way where i can maybe build 10 apartments or buildings at a time. Maybe even 100 at a time. Like a click and drag or a box of apartments

Re: Real estate
this would get very expansive. as the tiles next to the apartment you are building is raising in value, you need to wait until next month before placing another apartment next to it. i know it shouldnt be like this as you bought the land already, but it is charging you the difference between the price before placing an apartment and after if you place anything next to the apartment.G4ronmino wrote:I wish there was a way where i can maybe build 10 apartments or buildings at a time. but there is an option in the game to place more then 1 building of same type, i think its was [Shift] you have to hold down so you can keep placing without selecting a building everytime.

Re: Real estate
What I do is buy up all the land I want to use before placing buildings. That way I don't have to pay extra for the increase in land value as soon as I pop a building. This is how it works in the real world too. If a big development project starts right next to your vacant land, that land is now worth more, so developers try to buy up the vacant land before any project.
I've never needed to batch create buildings, it's not that time consuming to manually place each one and you'll never build more than 10 at a time, if that much.

you will pay premium if you place more then 1 building in a 4 tile radius in the same month.azxcvbnm321 wrote:What I do is buy up all the land I want to use before placing buildings. check it out on your cash when you place an apartment, write down the cash you got after, place the next building within 4 tiles of the 1st building, check cash and substract the cost to place it, the more value you add to the land you want to place the next building on, the more premium you gonna pay unless you wait to the 1st of the next month.
if i build a whole town, i usually have a bigger construction site i.e. if i got a block of 8 appartments with a tennis court inside ... i start 3 4 or 5 of those blocks at the same time and place 1 appartment to each of those blocks per month just to avoid the crazy premium i got to pay on the land i already own.
if this is my 24 appartment site (A=apartment, T=tennis court)
A A A A A A A A A A A A
A T A A T A A T A A T A
A A A A A A A A A A A A
i gonna place the tenniscourt in the first month and from 2nd month onwards in an order like this (numbers ascending)
1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3
4 T 5 4 T 5 4 T 5
6 7 8 6 7 8 6 7 8
so it gonna take 9 month to complete the whole site including the tennis court and due to this placing there is always a 4 tile space between each building placed in the same month. but i often do it with 5 blocks or more depends on the amount of apartments necessary for the town. by 10 towns thats easily 50 apartments per month with no premium pay on land if you purchased the land and 4 tiles around the construction side in the first place
