Choosing your own product class expertise?
Currently, product class expertise is randomly chosen at game start.
I suggest that during game set-up,
players should have the option to choose which product class they want to have their expertise in.
Perhaps at the expense of several difficulty points if not left random?
Maybe it's possible to put a pull down menu somewhere here?

Totally agree with the point, such option must be present for the sake of balance.

Also think this is a great idea.

I suggest that he can choose, but there is also an option "random", which is selected by default.

I also like the idea to choose your expertise class in the begining of a game. I always end up restarting the game 20-30 times to get the experitse class I want for this game.

Re: Choosing your own product class expertise?
We would consider implementing this. But we think that the random option is more challenging and therefore the player should be rewarded with a higher difficulty rating (which affects the game score), if the player chooses random product class expertise.
Initially, we are thinking about setting the difficult rating difference to 20 to 30. In other words, if the player choose random product class expertise, the difficult rating will be 20-30 higher than choosing a specific product class expertise.
Do you think a difference of 20 is more reasonable, or 30 is more reasonable?

The higher the better since it's much more challenging to play with random class expertise.brianwiz wrote:Do you think a difference of 20 is more reasonable, or 30 is more reasonable?
