Corporate bonds

One of the new features of the Banking DLC is the ability to issue corporate bonds.

Each company is assigned with a credit rating based on its cash flow and debt to equity ratio.

Here is a work-in-progress screenshot of the interface for issuing corporate bonds.

On the New Game Setting menu, you will be able to adjust the base interest rate, which affects bonds and bank loans in general. Let's say that you are interested in playing a game with generally low interest rates, you may set this option to low.

I am not sure if I like the banking DLC idea but this particular move looks brilliant if it will replace current loan system.

Looking good. Always wanted the opportunity to raise via bonds. Much better than having to sell off stock

It is really good.

It would be nice if a company:
- will have right to buy back own bonds;
- will have right to buy and sell the state, municipals bonds, bonds from other companies;
- buy and sell bonds with discount and more expensive than par value;
- may declare a default to pay % for debts - decreasing credit rating (no bank loans, no issue new bonds, no issue new shares) and so on ...

I think It needs the Bond market in the game.

What about corporations having to select a bank to have their bank account in? The banks created can be the only ones to be able to provide loans in the game? And what about mutual funds?

That's awesome. I was really looking forward to having a mix of stocks, loans, and bonds to finance your company's operations. Finally, we can do that.

How is this going to effect bank loans ?

Their will need to be a balance between bond rate and loan rate otherwise taking loans will just become redundant ?
