x hotkey doesn't work

I don't know why but even after a clean install of the game the x hotkey appears to be not working.

On which screen did you press the X hot key?

when I open a firm i try to use the x hotkey function but it doesn´t work while the Z hotkey works as stated.

The bug with the hot key 'x' has been fixed in the latest version 5.4.13.

unfortunatelly after downloading the patch and put it on the game folder it appears as v5.4.12

My "x" hotkey to open the firm options (transfer, demolish, move) doesn't work now either. It worked fine until I stated using Digital Age the other day. I have tried the updated patch today, but still doesn't allow me to hotkey "x" to open that menu while in a firm.

When in a retail store: Hitting "x" does nothing.
When in a Factory: "x" switches between analysis mods and standard mode. Both pop up descriptions on the switch mode button and the transfer/relocate/destroy button say "x" is hotkey
All other firms: "x" does nothing, even though button says "x" is hotkey.
