Post by David »

Auto Patch 1.934 is now available.

It is compatible with saved games from 1.932 and 1.933

If you have encountered problems with the auto-patch, you may download the patch manually from this link:
http://www.capitalismlab.com/capserver/ ... 341932.zip

And also post on the Cap Lab Technical Support Forum http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=13 about the problem you are having with auto patch.

New Features / Bug Fixes / Changes

When you merge with another company, if both your company and the target company are using unique brand strategy, the brand ratings of the target company’s products will be merged into your company, replacing your existing brand, provided that 1) its brand rating is higher than yours and 2) its brand loyalty rating is a positive rating or it is not 10 points lower than yours.

Friendly mergers between AI companies may occur.

Fixed the decimal place display bug with prices after reissues of banknotes.

If you set Competitor Aggressiveness to Very Low, Low or Moderate, the AI will have a greater tendency to build factories in rural areas, regardless of freight cost concerns, making it easier for the player to buy land plots in suburban areas next to the CBD.

Fixed the bug with tech acquisition costs.

During recessions, local competitors tend to spend less in upgrading their tech and advertising their brands, for those products with a low necessity index. So it would be easier for the player to survive the recessions. Aggressive players may take that opportunity to seize market shares from local competitors as they halted their expansions.

Not sure how they do it (the same as you merger with an AI company ?) But i've seen a couple already in my newly started game. In fact it was the same company that merged with 2 other companies (1 after another ofc, not at the same time :p) Its bad for the shareholders though (my shares dropped in value), although im not sure what goes on. It looks like the amount of shares of both companies merger alongside, but the price seems to drop (Im not sure if this behavior is logical or not) as if you issued new shares.
