Moving Mouse Slows Game Down

I'm playing the new 5.6 version, and I've noticed an issue whenever the mouse cursor is moved, the game time slows down significantly, almost to paused, and game lags severely. Once I stop moving the mouse, the game resumes normal speed.

I'll also take this time to mention that the high resolution version of the game runs very poorly on my system. Using a lower res like I always have is fine, but the new mouse lag issue is causing a problem for me.

I tested it and didn't experience any slowdown when moving the mouse.

What screen resolution and mode are you using?

With the same screen resolution and mode, did you have the same problem with the release version?

I am using 1280 x 1024, but it occurs on every resolution. I have not tried using the release version. I will do that...

Have you tried the windowed mode?

Yes that is what I am playing in now and it has the same issue. I'm also noticing a lag in the *click* sound I hear when clicking menu items. It is taking about a half second to hear the sound when clicking, when it used to be instant.

Basically the game is slower in 5.6

We have tested it several times and did not notice any performance differences between the release version and the post-release beta version 5.6.x.

Did anyone else experience slowdown in v5.6.x ?
