Issues I've encountered

1. When I hire a CMO and set the brand to about half the bar, they will still advertise up to 90 something brand. (when I was on 5.6, I havn't hired one after I updated but saw nothing in the patch notes about it)

2. When I have a building with a setup of:
P P P
MMM
S P S

The left M will sit at max items made but the sales unit will be accepting the middle M's products each tick and its wasted productivity
Could a sales unit accept items from whichever linked has the most available?

We will investigate the problem.

Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) The exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game (the names of the firms)
2) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.

You can find save game files of Capitalism Lab from:
C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab\SAVE

You may email the save game file to us at info@enlight.com.

I sent a save file to show both issues, just watch the factory and you can see it grabbing from the middle a lot more than the left.
And the brand rating is already 27 when i have her bar set to like 10 rating.

I'm on 5.7.14 with no mods.

I checked it and all of your 3 manufacturing units have 100% utilization, meaning that they are all being utilized equally.
And the brand rating is already 27 when i have her bar set to like 10 rating.
It takes some time for a new target brand rating setting to take effect. I ran the game for one more month and the CMO no longer ran any advertisement.

The animation of the stock movement may not be the best indication of the utilization. The numeric display of the utilization rate is more accurate.
And if you look at the slider for where the CMO should have the brand rating it would be 10 or less.
The CMO will stop advertising it soon after loading your game. The CMO does not change the advertising on a daily basis. It takes some time for a new decision on the advertising budget.

If you could provide a save game where the CMO is still doing advertising while the brand rating has exceeded the target, and the CMO still advertises it for months, I will ask the programmer to load the game and check it.

As I suspected, the left most Manufacture is not being used as much as it could be. This factory has always had more demand than supply by feeding a warehouse.
The left will sit at max items made while the sales unit takes from the middle when it ticks.

proof is the middle leveled faster than the left, by a lot actually. They are both half way through their levels, one at 4 one at 5.

Please check the utilization percentages of the different manufacturing units and see if they are different. The numeric utilization percentages are the real numbers used by the game and are therefore the most accurate.

From my observations the utilization % means almost nothing. If you look at a farms process unit it will say 96-100% utilization but without product moving through it it won't level. Farm: https://imgur.com/a/uZnFcKh

Now if I set up 2 factories,

they behave completely different.

Factory 1 will sit at max units made on the far left manufacture square for a few ticks before being taken by the sales unit.

Factory 2 will take from all manufacture units as soon as they have anything to the sales unit.

Factory 1 Warehouse = 3,558,496 Yogurt
Factory 2 Warehouse = 3,934,626 Yogurt

After only a few months, the difference is almost 400,000 Yogurt.

Also, with no sales at all, the game has said I've profited the last 2 months, all i'm doing is buying import making stuff and storing it in a warehouse.
