Quick Questions

Post by Faleya »

Hey there, not sure if this is the right place for this (but then the other part of the forum that might be seems to be overrun by spambots).

So, I hope you can help me out:

- How can I set units/currency to something useful? (While I prefer to have Euro or Pound as currency but don't really insist on having those, I'm much more annoyed by the imperial units like square foot)

- If I have several shops selling the same product in a city, do I actually have to manually set the price in each and every one of those? Or is there a "same price across town" button? (If you played RCT2 you know what I want here, but even if it's somewhere hidden I dont mind)

- In the 2nd scenario....how can I tell when I dominate the real estate market in a city? And what does it entail? I can only find market dominance graphs for products.

- one thing I never understood: What determines which unit gets upgraded with training? I have a factory with lvl8 purchasing units that constantly sit at ~0-20% usage while the same factory has lvl 5 manufactoring units at 100% usage permanently. Why does it upgrade the units I dont need upgraded? (all units have been set up at the same time, no changes were ever made to it)

Thanks in advance for your help!

chagne currency, no idea.

Though to set a price of your product in all stores in 1 city to the same that is done by double clicking on a product in your store, at the bottom of that window is a set all button.

You can't really dominate real estate, people will always be living in the already established buildings.

For leveling up the units must be actually being used, the usage % doesn't mean anything to how fast it'll level.
Purchase/sales units level up faster than manufacture.

Thank you!

But considering the whole GOAL of that scenario is to dominate the real estate market there HAS TO BE some sort of way to see how you're doing on that front?

And it just makes zero sense for purchase/sales units to be 3 or 4 levels above the manufacturing ones. If they got leveled up first for some reason I could understand a 1 level difference, but 3 or even 4 when they're not even utilized? That just seems wrong and I feel like there has to be something I'm doing wrong. But then I did set up that factory and its production cycle&training level and then never touched it again for a while and got this issue.

Another one: How does the divident work?

I made 25 million in the past year with my company, had the divident set to 100%, the payout was $1.19/0.74% of per stock for a total somewhere BELOW 2.5 million.
Why is that payout so low?
