Would it be possible to implement a "burned warehouse" graphic, instead of just deleting the whole building? That way we could have the warehouse turn into a burnt warehouse, keep all the links and setups in there, but it wouldn't work, until it was repaired (a button near the demolish function). I do not know if other houses can burn down too, but the same function could then be used for all those as well.
It would greatly reduce micromanagement, if you use warehouses as centralization hubs to have your retailers all use the same warehouse, instead of individual factories.

Re: Fire destroying building / reducing micromanagement
I agree. Sometimes a fire destroys one of my buildings, and I'm not entirely sure how it was setup. If its a R&D for example, I have to check my other R&D firms to see what they are researching to try and pinpoint what I was researching in the burned down building for example.
I wouldn't mind if the cost to rebuild was just as high as setting up a completely new building, or if a "ghost" firm remained in spot so you could at least see the internal layout of the firm. Either option would be much appreciated

I agree with this too, or even an option to pay X amount to have it remain there
