Edit: this idea isn't maybe that big to build whole DLC around it, but it could be part of another DLC, maybe transportation DLC?
I like this concept very detailed.

might need to be part of the Government DLC being suggested

I mentioned this problem in section "Negative Impact 1.0" and "Negative Impact 2.0"
I don't want to repeat myself, but basically as business in energy would be booming, you can expect, that at any given time there would be a surplus of Energy. So destroying of a power plant would be conditioned by having alternate source.
So basically: "You cannot destroy the factory" or "You can sell to the government"

But overall the energy market should be really profitable, as the city grows there is a higher demand for new energy areas and higher energy availability per area.
So engine should see this option and build new powerplants, or upgrade the existing one.

Hello,

I think incorporating energy as a theme would deepen the game's macroeconomics.
It would be cool to see energy prices impacting the in-game economy.
Energy crisis scenarios would make the game feel more realistic.
I think this would attract more interest to the game.

merhaba,
