Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta version 11.0.44 patch is now available

Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta version 11.0.44 patch is now available for download at:
https://caplab.b-cdn.net/CB11044-11020.zip

This patch must be applied on top of version 11.0.20 or later. If you haven't installed it, please download the full version 11.0.18 installer viewtopic.php?t=9964

Then extract the ZIP file to your post-release Beta version of Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab Post-release Beta game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the folder.

Version 11.0.44
Fixed a crash bug when viewing the news log

Resolved the issue that the number of AI companies in the game is not aligned with the game setting when Digital Age DLC is enabled.

Fixed the following bugs reported in viewtopic.php?t=10179
-Media Firms monthly cost = setup cost in the Build Menu
-Options: SCREEN MODE: Changing mode with same resolution won't "live reload"
-HQ: Human Resources Department or Chief Marketing Officer’s Office: Apply Selected keeps the Firms screen in Batch mode until Cancel is clicked
-Hotkey Q to go back to previous firm not working when switching city until querying a firm in this new city
-Ctrl increase/decrease does not produce the price change sound & not working with numpad
-Expect R&D Center/Software Company to have their Duplicate button in the Relocate or Demolish window. One has to press Relocate, then Duplicate. They're the only firms to do that.
-R&D Center won’t show products when hovering on city map

Apartment-style windows (Mansions, Apartments, Commercial Buildings, Civics, Sports):
-Cannot close when right-clicking ON the window. In the same conditions: pressing Q does not go back to the prev. firm. A few spots work ex.: right-clicking on the annual rent per square foot price and below.
-Expect Ctrl-X to open Relocate or Demolish window

Banking & Finance DLC:
-Ctrl-G not opening Global Stock Market

Digital Age DLC:
-Software Company: New Software Product: Computer OS: it is possible to program for no hardware (none checked). It has 0 user base... for ever.

-R&D Center/Software Company: Upon completion, all units connected to a lead auto renew. If they are empty, they will auto hire people.

When no_auto_patch.txt is present, it will not download any patches.

Fixed a bug with the error message Mlink.cpp.

Version 11.0.43
Improved the gameplay balance and AI of banks.

Version 11.0.42
If no additional bugs are reported in the coming days, this will be the final minor version of the post-release beta for the 11.0 major release and the next version will be the official release candidate.

Fixed the bug in v11.0.41: when you keep pressing the mouse button to increase or decrease a value continuously, it doesn’t work.

Changed the save game folder to the same folder as other apps under OneDrive.

Version 11.0.41
Added the Image/Text mode toggle icon for R&D centers and software companies. In Image mode, if more than two R&D units are linked together, only the central unit will be displayed as text only, while the others will be shown with images.

Fixed this issue: Copying a factory and changing the inputs doesn't produce new items

To translators:

The game now uses T_DBF.TXT to handle the translation of all product names, firm names, and functional unit names. Instead of being scattered across various files like translate.txt and trans*.txt, all translations are now consolidated into this single file for more efficient translation management.

When corporate logos in a mod have an alpha channel (which it should not), the game will no longer display an error message, it just do not show those images.

Fixed a display bug with the Software Guide in 1024x768 display mode.

Improved the algorithm for determining the market rents of apartments and commercial buildings.

Improved the AI algorithm for selecting media firms to advertise. It will favor own media firms more than the previous version if the option “prefer to advertise in own+parent media” is enabled.

With the City Economic Simulation DLC, new cities on the regional map will be spaced farther apart, allowing logistics companies to generate more freight revenue.

Logistics Company Gameplay Balance Improvements:
Reduced the fixed cost of intercity routes
Fixed a bug which AI sets the freight capacity expansion budget higher than the maximum allowed amount.
When IT system is fully upgraded, it will stop using the IT budget even if the player does not reset the budget.
Improved the overall profitability of logistics firms.
Added a Very Low option for AI Tendency to Build Logistics Companies, and it is set to Low by default.

Adjusted the freight costs between cities in general.

Modding
The game now plays the speech of a mod scenario from \MOD\<Mod Name>\Scenario\Speech\, instead of the main game scenario folder.

When the game cannot find a music file defined in the mod, it will now ignore it and load the rest, instead of not using any of the mod music at all.

Fixed the bug: The units in HQ been counted as frontline employees when I organize an intensive training program.

Fixed the bug of being able to click on stores that cannot be set up in malls due to insufficient space. Now it is not possible to do so.

Fixed a crash bug when opening the world map in a game without the City Economic Simulation DLC.

Fixed the bug with Stock Returns display in the stock exchange.

Fixed the AI bug where it won’t research tech for Internet company if the city does not have any talents. Now, it will look for talents in other cities.

Fixed a bug with displaying small icons in the Firms report when a R&D firm is researching a technology instead of a product.

Build any factory and then click on a Purchase Unit (make sure it is actually getting supplies):

Just tried this again - same error. I also looked at the files and they don't appear to be different.

I think AI needs to be more proactive with training when they dont produce enough of something, like here, i turn the training level up and the AI sets it back to zero..

i wanted to duplicate a shop thats in an apartment, and place the copy into a commercial building, that didnt go to well
