corporate brand - press and public relations department

Post by Doomi »

Hello,

I have two subsidiaries (pharmaceutical software), and I've set them to the corporate brand. When I set the budget for the press and public relations department at headquarters, it resets to 0 after a few days. The CEO has no permissions under “Finance.”

Why does the budget keep resetting?

Please note that the current Financial Management Policies do not apply to PR department expenses.

If you believe this should be added, please feel free to create a suggestion post about this in the Suggestions forum.

I'm afraid I don't understand your answer.

In the company headquarters, under “Press and Public Relations Department,” it says:

Monthly public relations expenses per active city
If this company applies the corporate brand strategy, the brand will benefit from public relations.

My brand is set to “Corporate Strength,” and I set the slider to 500,000. When I let time run and return to this section later, the amount is always reset to 0. It doesn’t matter how often I reset it to 500,000—it always resets to 0.

Because it is a subsidiary, its CEO will change the PR expenses.

But why? What do I need to configure to stop it from doing that?
What's the point of the option if I can't use it there?
Or is it just so the CEO can use it if I build it?

Please note that the current Financial Management Policies for Subsidiary CEOs do not apply to PR department expenses.

If you think a new management policy for this should be added, I recommend that you post a suggestion in the Suggestions Forum at http://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=14

I also recommend creating a poll for your suggestion to gauge community interest. There would be a higher chance that the dev team will implement it if the interest level is high.

You can see examples of polls in the Suggestions forum:

I don't have the exact answer to your question, sorry about that, I did want to share what I do have though. I've been making tip pages for the manager's guide so that's why the funny formatting and all that.
